Job Responsibilities: 

  • Identifies risk and suggests solutions to help mitigate losses
  • Performs audits on sales employees and/or offices
  • Provides regular updates, analysis, and recommended enhancements to increase business performance while remaining compliant with regulatory expectations
  • Participate in special projects, prepare charts, graphs, and metrics to support the department
  • Complete HR and Management requests for internal audits, and perform prior employee candidate rehire reviews
  • Work closely with Employee Relations in providing audit reports when necessary

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • 1+ years Underwriting, Sales, or Customer Service experience in non-standard auto insurance
  • Knowledge of the insurance rating system(s) such as FSC and/or ITC rater a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of auto insurance policies, procedures, and practices including related industry and regulatory issues
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both orally and in writing
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc…)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Education/Experience: 

  • High school diploma, some college preferred
  • 2 year relevant experience
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
